Captchas sind kleine Aufgaben, die von Menschen relativ einfach gelöst werden können, von Bots (also automatisierten Programmen) allerdings nicht.<br>
Daher werden sie zur Abwehr von Bots eingesetzt - z.B. um zu verhindern, dass ein Bot hunderte Accounts auf einer Webseite erstellt.
Ein Beispiel wäre z.B. einige Verzerrte Buchtaben/Zahlen, die man entziffern muss.
Am verbreitesten ist Googles reCaptcha, unten zum Testen einfach mal anklicken.<br>
